Ever since, when referred to athletics, usually we immediately can think of sports events having played by males. But nowadays, females can do what males do. But what’s behind the issue of athletes having gender change?

Yvonne Buschbaum was one of the athletes who preferred to have a sex change. She claimed that she experienced mental imbalance. She doesn’t want anymore to live in a woman’s body but still feeling like a man.

Decisions like this in athletics are not unusual. For me, what matters is their dedication in what they do. As long as they can do their passion, there’s nothing wrong right? They’re indeed inspiring individuals.
